My name is Diana scofield and I'm a clinical psychologist at ChK De and I lead the psychology services for the Sea. HKD Mental health service line. Seven years ago I chose to come and work at C. H. K. D. Out of a desire to join a vibrant interdisciplinary and child centered organization. The patients and the mission are why I am here today. What I enjoy most about working at Ch. K. D. Is the people, the colleague ability and the team environment of the sea. HKD mental health service line have supported me both personally and professionally and have enabled me to grow as a clinical psychologist. We're building a mental health hospital to serve a continuum of care in our community ranging from acute psychiatric hospitalization through community based services. And I think that this expanded program has an opportunity to really transform the way that Children's mental health care is delivered in our region and to support patients who have had fairly limited access to services. I love living in Hampton Roads because it's incredibly vibrant and welcoming to transplants and I spend a lot of time in the outdoors and along the waterfronts and particularly enjoy accessing the restaurant scene and also the independent bookstores. My family also really enjoys the likable and walkable options to get to our favorite spots around Norfolk. The quality of life and the cost of living creates a really really nice balance and we plan to root our family here for a very long time
